La mostra, organizzata da Associazione Minimondi a cura di Les Trois Ourses, racconta la vita ed il lavoro dell’artista americano Remy Charlip, ballerino, coreografo ed illustratore di libri per bambini.

La mostra ha avuto luogo all’interno della Galleria San Ludovico, una chiesa sconsacrata. L’aula rettagolare è stata utilizzata per esporre i libri illustrati da Charlip, mentre le cappelle sono state utilizzate come luogo per lo svolgimento di attività di animazione per i bambini e per la visione di materiale video d’approfondimento sull’attività di coreografo e ballerino di Charlip.

In tutto lo spazio, calate dall’alto a creare una scenografia teatrale, stampe che riproducevano i personaggi più famosi dei libri da lui illustrati.

The exhibition, organized by Association Minimondi and by Les Trois Ourses, tells the life and work of the American artist Remy Charlip who was a dancer, choreographer and also an illustrator of children’s books.

The exhibition took place at the St. Louis Gallery, a former deconsecrated church. The rectangular space has been used to expose the books illustrated by Charlip, while the chapels were used as a place for conducting entertainment activities for children and for watching video material to deepening Charlip’s activity as choreographer and dancer.

In all space, falling from the top like a theater scenography, there were prints that reproduced the most famous characters of the books he had illustrated.
